Hi, I've just acquired my first motorhome - a lovely 1998 Duo. Trouble is, there is no manual for the electrolux fridge, or, ideed the Romahome itself. I think the fridge is a 3 way one. Does anyone know where I can get a manual or if not, has anyone the time to tell me how to use it? Also, I don't think the van has the ability to connect to the mains hook-up. There doesn't appear to be anything in or around it to suggest that I can. Sorry to be so stupid, but have I missed something or is it simply that this model cannot hook-up but has to rely on the 12v battery? (See what a complete novice I am?) Any help would be gratefully received.

Hi Gill Welcome to the forum. If you have a look on our main website there is a page about camping in a Duo which you might find interesting. The electric hook up socket should be on the side with a flap to cover it, there is a picture on the website. CLICK HERE. There is also a few manuals you can download which you might find helpful CLICK HEREHope that helps Graham

Hi Gill Welcome to the site. You can get manuals from the Dometic web site, I think Dometic and Electrolux are sort of the same firm, someone else may know. Try this manual www.dometicmanuals.com/1994%5C821%5C266402en.pdf I am pretty sure that this was the fridge in the Duo Hylo we used to have. Derek

Hi Derek,
Thanks for the welcome and thanks, too, for the info. Absolutely spot-on. I've downloaded the manual. I am so grateful. Thanks again.

Hi Graham,
Thanks so much for your prompt help. Great. Actually, I don't think that my Duo has a mains outlet but at least, now I know! It doesn't bother me too much as there is only me and my dog and we won't be consuming lots of electricity. The manual is really useful. Thanks again. By the way, I like your website. All in all, I'm chuffed to bits that I've at last bought myself a Romahome.

Hi Derek, Sorry I have answered sooner but I haven't been online. Thanks so much for the correct manual info. In fact, I managed to suss it all out using the 70litre manual but having the right one now is great. I haven't ventured forth for a night away yet but hope to by the end of the month; nothing too adventurous to start with - perhaps to Dolgellau which is not far from where I live but I'm new to campervanning so I'll take it step by step. Really looking forward to the trip though. Once again, thanks so much for your help. Gill.
