Hi All, I have a small Camper pod that sits on the back of my pick up,Iam having problems with Insurance, the company I am with,Adrian Flux will only insure it as two seperate items ie; the pick up and the camper back which makes it quite expensive. They will insure it as a campervan quite cheaply but only if I leave the camper part permanently fitted to the pick up ,not what I want. Do any other members have this problem or how do you demountable owners get round this. Any replyies will be welcome befor I part with my cash. I am a pensioner and this is my hobby but I have to keep costs down to keep it up. Regards to all RominRon

Hi,
try campton insurance brokers (01883 742460) they insured us when we had our demountable. We needed to be able to demount and use the pickup occasionally so they insured it as 2 seperates but they were reasonably priced compared to adrian flux.
welcome to the forum!!
Glen

Hi Glen I will give Campton a try. I just noticed that Adrian Flux also include free UK & European breakdown and recover service, I must take that into consideration. Thanks for the welcome. Ron
