Hello Everyone, We're off on a very unplanned holiday. We have two and a half weeks off, and the only day where we know we have to be somewhere is Wednesday, when we're in Cardiff for my daughter's graduation ceremony and are staying in a new site near Bridgend. After that the world is our oyster. We're thinking of heading west, Pembroke, Newquay, Tenby etc, where we've never been before, but are also thinking this could be a good opportunity to get the ferry over to Rosslare. Have any of you recommendations of where to go in southern Ireland or where to stay? The joy of the romahome is that I'll probably come back on this site and tell you I've been to Norfolk! Any tips for either area would be most welcome, Aileen x

Well, we're back. We've stayed in Bridgend, Pembroke, St Davids, Cardigan, ferry to Rosslare, stayed in Wexford, Dingle Peninsula, Breara Peninsula, up to Dublin, ferry to Holyhead arriving in early hours, so wild camped by South Stack, then a couple of nights near Treaddur Bay on Anglesey. Home tonight. Shattered but happy. 16 consecutive nights in our Outlook and still speaking to each other! Aileen.

Sounds a fantastic trip. It would be great to put on some campsite reviews of sites in Ireland (we haven't got any at the moment) so if you have time we would love to have them.
