Hi everybody,
Have anyone noticed how your nationality determines how you camp?
For instance if there are four campers in a field, and they are English they will be camped in the four corners of the field.
Four French campers will be camped in a group in the centre.
And four Germans will be around the toilets.
Seriously though.
I have just completed a five week tour of Spain, and there are a couple of sites I would like to recommend
One is in Portugal in the Algarve it is 'Turiscampo' Page 581 of camping cheque.
It is a very clean site kept that way by a small army of friendly attendants who travel around the site on small electric carts, and are only too keen to give you a lift.
The restaurant has an excellent menu, and there is a buffet which consists of dishes from which you can help yourself for under 7 euros
My favorite was the shrimps.
The one snag was the temperature it was 100 + in the shade, but there was no shade.
The second campsite was in Spain it is 'Camping de Haro' Page 545 of camping cheque.
This site is a short Walk from the town square of Haro and there seemed to always something going on there.
One evening there was something in aid of veterans. You paid one euro and you got a roll with two cooked sausages in it and a cup of red wine.
Every evening parents walked around the square showing off their children or sitting outside the bars and cafe's, what a contrast to our town centres.
If there is anyone still reading this, please stand well back as I feel a silly rhyme coming on.
Twinkle twinkle little Bat,
How I wonder what your at,
Up above the world so high,
Like a Tea-tray in the sky.
Eugene.
