Ant - last one today ! - I had an argument with a (wrongly) low hanging street sign which my reverse sensors didn't spot. The result is a small "dent" / hole in the rear bumper, about 0.5 cms long, close to one of the sensors. It shows simply because of the colour of the base material and has no impact at all on the performance of the van.
Needless to say I don't want to go to the expense of having the bumper taken off. I also don't intend to sue the Council concerned, mostly because I was too busy going somewhere and didn't photography the sign at the time, a month or so ago.
How would you suggest doing a temporary / partial repair, please ?

Carole. The bumper is not part of the body of the van, a big hole in it is not going to let water in so I would just do something to take your eye of the dent ( bit of black paint) until you decide to get it repaired. Ant

Thanks. I was hoping you would say that ! I think a "proper" repair will be expensive .....
Best wishes - and your help is much appreciated.
