I have just been out to 'turn' the engine over since we have not used the roma for a few days (Torrential rain in Cornwall) and noticed that the little storage well in the central bit between the seats is full of water...I also lifted the carpet at the driver's side to find that it is wet underneath!!!!! Where do I look/what do I do to find the source of the water? HELP! Thanks Dadsdahlia

Many thanks Graham! As soon as the torrents stop I will delve under the bonnet and try to find the drainage 'slot' and pipe...it will be my first 'technical venture'...hopefully I can do it... Thank you again Dadsdahlia.

Having delayed for over a month, today I tackled my 'C15 water seepage problem' and followed advice offered! Once the blockage was cleared with grubby fingers, the water gushed out!!!Are there any other drainage points that I should check to prevent a problem arising again? Many thanks from grubby dahlia.

Are there any other drainage points that I should check to prevent a problem arising again? I found a curious one last week. The clip that holds the door open on my HyLo had broken and I went to replace it. By the way, I rang Romahome for a proper one because mine was a bit makeshift and they said that that is how they are. I was told that an ordinary clip is not long enough so I was to get two clips, then cut the bases off and use these as spacers. My nearest caravan accessory shop though had a choice of three, all the right length. But to get back to the unexpected drainage - as I took the screw out of the old fitting (on the body, not the door) a stream of water jetted out. It took nearly half a minute before it slowed down to a trickle and even then I could give the body a press and pump a bit more out. I wondered if it was full all the way to the bottom but when I took the lighting cluster off - just a couple of inches below - it was dry as a bone in there. I don't know how it got in there but it doesn't appear to have done any harm.
