Hello again Ant, you have been so helpful in the past with our problems with our old van we are bothering you again please help! Our new beautiful Outlook May2007, only done 7000 miles to date. By chance we noticed the waste water tap was loose, this was tightened up when the van was serviced by Freeborn in July, on our first trip away the tap was loose again, whilst investigating before leaving the campsite, the tap end together with the unit came away, the two screws which vertically held the end of the unit & tap attached are two very small diameter screws we felt not man enough to hold the weight, are they the standard size? To get home, we had to detach the hose from the waste water tank and now have the whole unit intact small screws as well! Has anyone else had this problem is there a way on ensuring the tap end is securely attached? Barbara

Hi Barbara. It's quite common for the waste tap to get knocked off, the screws are a bit small for the job. I re-drill the bracket with larger holes and fit it with longer screws. The holes in the bracket are a bit tight on the current screws which doesn't allow the bracket to be tightened properly, the screws tend to tighten to the bracket rather than the bracket to the underside of the body, which means they work loose. Thanks Ant
