Am due to go to the Moira Furnace Fest on Friday and the dog has come into season, which means I can't take her! Called the kennels and they are full up with it being the holiday season. Called a dog sitter - she has vacancies but she has laminate floors and my dog just can't walk on them anymore her grip on hard surfaces is going now she's getting old.! ARGGHHH ETA: Called the vets and they were open - but they don't recomend the injection in Merley's case as she's too old and it's too risky re the pyometra she had not long ago. I'm going to have to cancel the fest and after buying tickets as well. BH!

That's good new JayJay, I hope you have a great time at the Festival. Pets can be a bit of a pain, especially as they get older, our cat is guilty of making us miss a few camping trips with his various ailments and fights he gets into, it always seems to happen just before we got away. Then there's the vet and cattery bills. Its worse than having kids! Graham

Martin had quite a time of it with his dog last year. I reckon it's going to be my turn for that soon. However, KiwiDave is coming, and perhaps we'll see some others we know there! Conkers is right next door! (But we're staying on the fest campsite - £5 for weekend!)
