Hi Ant
We need a new leisure battery and I have been finding out prices.
I was slightly perturbed when one supplier said 85 amp/hour batteries are no longer being made due to a change in regulations due in November. The alternatives offered were 75amp/h smaller than our current battery and 95 amp/h too big to fit in the box.
Have you got any information
Thanks
Peter

www.performanceleisure.co.uk/I have just fitted a new 85amp Leisure Battery from these, well recommended with next day delivery included in the price.Pleased with it!! Having priced them up on E Bay I found these to be the cheapest, most E bay ones were collection only or included delivery charge so the price is very good!! Dabs

Hi Peter. The new regulation regarding how a battery can be measured for its amp/hour rating will at least give a level playing field for all battery suppliers. beware the lead up time to the regs' becoming law there will be some very cheap batteries offered that may say they're 85amp/hr but in reality can be as low as 45 amp/hr. I use the new Numax XV24MF an 86amp/hr battery that is supposed to meet the new regs. I charge £50 + vat for them, it is a sealed battery.
