I have just acquired an Autosleeper Frisky - this is the second one of these I've had, always regretted selling the other one but at the time (5 years ago) it just wasn't roomy enough for my family.
It's pretty ancient, 1988, and has lots of rust and a very noisy engine, and needs two new tyres, but the inside is actually in better condition than it's predecessor - which was a 1989 one but had had a hard life, I think.
Hoping to use it in earnest this weekend, providing it's service and general check over at the garage tomorrow goes OK.

Well done, Caz, hope the service goes well and you get a good weekend away. You'll have to post a picture of your van, I'm not sure what a Frisky looks like.

Well, I got him back last Friday afternoon - cost nearly as much to get him fixed as I paid for him. Have been gradually moving everything over from the caravan, ready to go away this weekend - and blow me, this morning I noticed that he has a leak from the cooling system - he wasn't leaking before - so he's back at the garage again now, they're muttering darkly about possibly needing a new radiator.
I'll get him right eventually, I hope.

Oh dear Caz, what a shame just as you thought you were going to be going out and enjoying him.
At least when you've got all the little bits and bobs done hopefully you will have a few years trouble free camping in him.
