Surely I am not the only all year caravanner? the outlook is very well insulated, and the heater is brill, but we need a strong awning that will fit, the movelites wont take high wind and rain, so, any suggestions?

I think some people have used Harrisons awnings on their romahomes, i'm sure someone on here will be able to give you some pointers on how good/bad they are in winter weather. I'm guessing one of the khyam awnings would also fit, they are generally well known for making good stuff and they are also easy erect. www.khyam.co.uk/product_tent.asp?category=Khyam%20QE&type=Caravan/MotorcaravanGlen

We used to have a Harrison awning with our Duo, they are very sturdy with metal poles etc., ours even had a toilet compartment, alas they are no longer made but you might get a good one second hand.

I have found my movelite to be ok, in gales and heavy rain. I used Deltagroundpegs, and it never moved!.

Harrison awnings still seem to be around, this place sells them.... 65.36.163.70/acatalog/Awnings_1.htmlalthough I'm not sure which one, if any, would fit. The motorhome ones are at the bottom of the page. Glen

Thankyou for your help, especially lunnie, I will look again at movelite XL and see if it will fit the bill. I know kyham are good but havent actually seen one - severe lack of dealers in london, only 10 million people live here so no demand ! I agree delta pegs are very good.Harrison dont make the romahome awning any more, roma have a few left at £580.00. not surprised they are left - ouch !!
