Is anyone going to the Motorhome show at Bath and West Showground over the weekend? I am hoping to have a couple of hours there tomorrow pm. Hope to buy a few bits and pieces at show prices! At the NEC last year I bought a small Lafuma sun umbrella for my folding chair for 9.99 saw them for sale in a camping shop this year for £32.99! Do you think anyone would buy one for that price?

Yep - Sue & I went today, and thoroughly enjoyed it - in spite of the loooong walk to and from the car park, loaded with goodies!! Not sure if it was quite as large as last year, but still very well worth going to.
Had a banter with Ant as usual - he seemed quiet while we were talking - he said his OH had popped to the loo an hour ago, so he was manning the fort alone!!

I did not go as I am off to St Ives, Cornwall for my walking holiday tomorrow.
however, I did buy a clip on umbrellas from Ikea last year, (great pain for me to go there) but the fabric is so see-through that I do not trust it for sun screen so have had to make another cover for it that goes over the top. I had some sunshade fabric and cut it to size and it is fine now. I also have a little green parasol but it does not fit on our chairs!

Spent a pleasant afternoon at the show and yes it is a very long walk to the car park - I got lost twice! I also managed to leave behind - probably at the Smart fibres towels stand - my £5 little fold up metal trolley for transporting my porta potti to the chemical disposal point. It seemed such a good idea at the time!
Only realised when after I arrived home.
There seemed to be lots of Romas in the car park it would have been nice to have met up with a few owners for a chat but no-one in sight! I usually go to the show in Jan but this one is much bigger and lots more bits and pieces.
