There we were today, sat on the wall by the bike, devouring a tray of chish 'n fips, when this pretty little renault Kangoo Roo pulled up and parked by us.
The sole occupant, a lady, got out - and I said to her what a pretty little unit, having never seen one in the flesh before. I asked if she was on the Group - "yes, I'm KarenW"!!
We had a little chat, and she spent an hour showing me around her pride and joy ( 5mins actually - it ain't very big )!! Cute little unit - ideal for one person - and she seemed to be making best use of the available space.
Nice to meet you, Karen - and happy camping.

Hi Mike, you and Sue seem to make a habit of bumping into other forum members, I think it was Derek last time.
Watch out everyone there's a Yamaha about. ;D

Hello again!
It was nice to meet you both - and what a coincidence that the only parking spot available was right beside you and your bike!
I hope you enjoyed the rest of your day. I'd like to have visited Woody Bay but there just wasn't time. After leaving you I wandered around Porlock and Selworthy then headed for home spending +90 minutes almost stationary on the M5 hardly moving between Bridgwater and Bristol due to long traffic backlogs from roadworks near Bristol. It was worse than central London in rush hour!
It's been a good 4 days away and I'm already looking forward to my next trip but doubt I'll be quite as lucky with the weather next time...
Enjoy your camping - and biking.
Karen W

. . . spending +90 minutes almost stationary on the M5 hardly moving between Bridgwater and Bristol due to long traffic backlogs from roadworks near Bristol. Having experienced that on the way down on Saturday, I tried to avoid it on the way back. I turned off the M5 early and went through Bristol but the roads were just as bad with the motorway overspill. It took me over 5 hours to get from Watchet to home, near Birmingham - a trip I usually do in under 2 and a half hours.

You're right, Graham - we do seem to meet quite a few Forum members by chance, don't we? Earlier in the year I seem to remember we bumped into a couple of other old codgers on a campsite up in the Mendips - can't for the life of me think of their names, though!! Mike ps - they made a nice cuppa
