That looks sweet - dunno how much they normally are new - but that looks like a real bargain - depending on what condition it's in, damage wise.
Nice find.

dunno how much they normally are new Around £40,000 new I think, so yes it would be a bargain at that price but as you say it depends on what damage the smoke has caused.

sent the guy an e mail aking where he was and a few questions about the damage, all i got back was a post code saying this is where we are, think that speaks for itself, judging by his user name i think they are on the old airfield estate in stafford, may see if i can get a bit more info out of him. Did anyone living nearby actually go to have a look at these R40's?
Does seem too good to be true - wonder if the photos were taken before or after the smoke damage!!

I think the vehicle was a stock R40 from Perthshire Motorcaravans who unfortunately had a massive fire at their site a while back. The R40 was not in the fire zone but may have been down wind in the smoke. A bargain for someone with a dull sense of smell, but very hard to rid the smell of smoke completely. Ant

Judging from the sellers spelling on the ebay advert, it sounds a bit like my local scrap dealer!
"would you buy a second hand car from this man?"
