I've just read Graham's comment in his article on the NEC show on the infills of the Dimension bed not the infill for double bed but too fill the sculptured seats the XYL & myself make up singles & I always used the infill but could never feel comfortable in fact due too my sleeping bag having a shiny surface I've found myself on the floor trapped between the beds a couple of times. But this year I got talking too another Dimension owner who cast his infills aside after one night so I tried it & found that I didn't move about & the humps held you in so I think I would find that the newer Dimension with flat seats would put me back on the floor again.
Cheers Pete

Please can you explain '50's Dimension'?
We have abandoned the infills on our beds and use Raskelf Duvalays (memory foam). That works really well for us, but you have to use whatever is best for you.
You could put a fleece blanket in between the sleeping bag and the infill to stop you sliding on the floor, but if you are comfy without it why bother. Also you can leave it (the infill) at home and have a bit more space for other things.

I still use the infill as I am a bit of a martyr to my back and without them I am just too uncomfortable. Pauline however has abandoned her's.
On our beds we use we use "sleepin beds" which we bought from decathalon which are like sleeping bags but with a thin self inflating air bed contained within it.
As Wendy says it's what works for you really.
Graham (often falls into bed but never out of it ;D)
P.S. I wondered about 50's Dimension too.

Hi It seems as if I confused things my vans a 55 just had its 4th B D the same day as mine sorry about the confusion. The times I have fell off the bed I've been zipped in a mummy sleeping bag which as I said was slippery never heard of the type of bags that Graham uses but have heard of the memory ones. Cheers Pete

never heard of the type of bags that Graham uses Hi Pete Have a look at this link SLEEP IN BEDSClick on the video and you can get a good idea of how they work. We love them and they roll up really small. We got ours on special offer from Decathlon and it worked out almost buy one get one free. Graham

Good one!! Quite similar to Readybeds that I use which are basically a sleeping bag attached to a blow up mattress, very comfy but best not to overinflate,I use a 12v pump as I dont have the lungs of the young lady in the video I will keep an eye out for these and have a closer look!! Dabs

Hi Pauline,
If I can jump in here - we also have a couple of adult singles - bought them from Argos. Sue found hers OK - not overwarm - so a summer only option, for her, at least.
I found mine too short, really. I'm about 6ft, and found my shoulders weren't covered whem my feet were right at the bottom, so only used it once!!
A brilliant concept - but for me would need a more sophisticated bag, and a longer air mattress!!

I bought my Readybeds from Argos about three yrs ago I think they were £9.99 each in a sale at the time not sure if they still do them. They have worked well and made things a whole lot comfier.I have turned my mid bench seat round again to face front so I now have more sleeping options rather than just up in the roof. They do a good job in levelling up between seats!
