Hi, when we purchased our romahome second hand it came with an awning. I believe it is the proper model. When we have finally got round to setting it up we discovered that there are no curtains. Above the windows there is a plastic groove which looks like it is where the curtains would attach. Does anyone know if it is possible to get replacement curtains and if so where. In the mean time we are going to use some sheets hung from the roof poles to give privacy when we use the loo in the night. We are heading off on Sunday in the van to Mull for a week. Hopefully we will keep the good weather for at least some of the trip

Hi - you'll need to know what make of awning you've got! Have a look and see if there's a label somewhere, so you can identify the make. It should be easy to google the manufacturer and see if they sell them. The alternative is to make your own, like you have done! You could always buy some nice lightweight curtains the right size and stick them (shut) to the tops of the windows, then use tie backs to let in the light when you need them opening. You can buy press-on double sided sticky velcro to stick them to the windows and just take them down every day. Have a lovely trip to Mull! I hope you take the weather with you - it's been lovely here today!

Hi steve. If your awning is a proper Romahome awning then it was made by either Kingswood canvas ( 0117 9601281) or Harrison awnings ( sadly no longer with us). The former should be able to help, don't expect a speedy resonse as they are now swamped with all Harrisons work. Ant

I made an extra set of curtains for our Harrison Romahome awning as the originals never seemed big enough to fit the window. I moved the front curtains to the side then made new ones for the front (bet I'm not making the slightest bit of sense am I ? ). I got some curtain track from the caravan shop, it's just plastic strip bought by the metre the same as the track that you mention is on your awning. Buy a short piece and cut it into about 1 inch pieces and sew these at intervals to the top of your curtains then do a running stitch along the top of the curtain, or, if you are clever make a proper gathered top! Then clip the pieces of track into the curtain rail. If you follow the above you must be a genius ;D but honestly it was easy-peasy and if you want more detailed instructions just ask.
