Hello all, I have been following this forum for a while now while waiting for our new Dimension to be ready. I really like the way everyone is so friendly and tries to help wherever possible.
I am hoping some other Dimension owners will be able to help with my queries on the Romahome thread. I'd like to learn about other people's experiences with their motorhomes, and as our experience with the Dimension grows, to be able to pass on our tips and ideas to others.
We have had the Dimension for 2 weeks now, with 2 nights at Morn Hill, Winchester, and 5 nights at Blackmore, Great Malvern. We went to the Western Mororhome Show and were pleased to see another Dimension in the carpark. We had quite a chat with the owners who had had their van for a year and were full of enthusiasm for it. We're off again next week for 3 nights at Incleboro Fields, Cromer and will be due for the 1000 mile service when we get back.
Sorry this has been so long, but I'm so excited about our van!

Hello Audrey Isn't it a lovely feeling when you get your new van. How did you find camping in it? Have you had a van before or tent etc. We are waiting for some better weather and then we will be off. It is just a bit unsettled at the moment and doesn't inspire me to go camping, I know that sounds wimpish but I don't mind camping in the cold and have camped in a van in the snow but I just don't like this rain. anyway bye for now Viv

Hello Audrey and welcome to this very friendly forum. We have had a Dimension for 13 months (it is 2 years old) and are really pleased with it. I have replied to your questions in the Romahome section. You certainly seem to be getting about with your new toy. We try to be out as much as possible and have just come back from a weekend at Hayfield with Pauline and Graham - so we've had lots of Dimension talk. Wendy (& John) PS Just noticed that you are from Suffolk, Audrey - that's my home county, although I left 40 years ago!

Hello Audrey and a big welcome! It's great to hear of another Dimension owner. Ours is only a little younger than Wendy and John's yet there are some slight differences between them internally so I wonder what extra features yours might have! I'll pop over and try to answer your questions in the other thread. As Wendy says we've had lots of Dimension chat this very enjoyable weekend, who knows one day perhaps all us 'Small Motorhome' gang will get a chance to meet up.

Hi Audrey
It's great to see another Dimension owner on here, there are not many of us about, a big welcome from me too, and I hope you have many hours of happy Romahoming in your new "baby".
Cheers Graham

Hi, from Jack & Pat, in Cornwall. We have been members since May and find this a friendly site and helpful. We are on our fourth Romahome, including Hondas and a lovely foray with a Bedford Advantura, but at 18 mpg, not viable any more. We have a C15 Hi-top which we love and USE IT ALL YEAR ROUND, having spent a Christmas in it, at Baltic Wharf, Bristol. We spent three weeks this last summer, touring France and Germany and already looking ahead to our next summer away. We missed Shepton Mallet this year due to me 'having a funny turn', but have always enjoyed the show.,,,,,,so there!!! lol

Hello Jack and Pat
Nice to hear from you, where in Cornwall are you, lovely county. how nice to have gone off to France and Germany and can't wait to hear more of your travels there.
We have heard good reports of Baltic Wharf, what was it like to stay and is it a club site or can you just go?
We will be using our Outlook this winter as we are expecting our first granchild today - probably be late though. So we will be camping up at our son's house once the baby arrives as there is no room for us as his mother in law is in the spare room. But we are quite cosy in out little van!!!!!
Keep in touch. Viv and Terry

Rather belated welcome, Shedbrewer.
I see that you are selling you current Romahome and hope that you soon sell that and find another one.
I hope that you noticed the thread about our informal meet at Chipping Norton, but that is maybe a bit far from Cornwall for a weekend. If we have another one in the spring, perhaps you can join us.

Hi Jack and Pat
Glad you have come on to introduce yourself and say hello, I like your username "shedbrewer", I brew home made beer and occasionally home made wine, I take it you brew in the shed, I on the other hand prefer to annoy Pauline and leave my beer brewing in the kitchen, can't be bothered walking down the shed to sample it ;D
We like Baltic Wharf as well its really handy to nip into Bristol on the Ferry and a very passable pub in the vicinity.
Hope you will stay with us even though you are selling your van, are you getting another?
Look forward to hearing from you soon.
Graham

We will be using our Outlook this winter as we are expecting our first granchild today - probably be late though. How exciting - hope he/she doesn't keep you waiting too long - our first one kept us waiting all day then we got a call at 3 am while camping in Derbyshire in the van - never have we been so happy to be woken up (not that we were really sleeping!) All the best, will be thinking of you.

Hi Jack and Pat Glad you got in eventually! I don't mind Graham's home brew in the kitchen - especially at the tasting stage!!

hi all, many thanx for welcoming Pat & me into 'Small Motorhomes'. Nice to chat to nice people, we are only selling our camper so that we can up grade to a slightly newer model Romahome,we spent last nite in Truro,in our camper, loved it, then half term crops up next week, Pat is in School Meals,so we are going away again. don't know where yet. Baltic Wharf is a great site, as Graham says, easy to get into Bristol by ferry, it is a CC site and is always busy as they only take about 50 units, but we love going there. Graham, yes I do brew in my shed, both beer (bitter) and red wine from kits, always have several bottles of wine stowed aboard the camper. Chipping Norton, is that in the Cotswolds, near Moreton in Marsh? we go there, to Moreton, occasionally and its a great place, lots of friendly pubs and restaurants,,,,bye for now, J&P
