Hi Barry and Christine
I love the picture of your Romahome, she looks great, have you been out and about in her yet? We'll look out for you she's quite distinctive.
Welcome to the forum.

Hello Barry and Christine, Welcome! What a lovely van, I love the chocolate brown colour of the cab, makes a change from white! I'm assuming that it's your wife/partner that is called Christine and not the van??? Although I do know that a lot of people do name their Romahomes

Hello Barry and Christine, Your little home looks really cute and we will certainly look out for you on our travels. How long have you had her and how did you find her. Have you been away yet. We love ours and only got her a few months ago. I am spending all my time now fitting her out. My latest mission was to organise something so we can use the pelmet storage over the seats so that we can find the little things like pencils, binos etc . I have managed this and am starting on a bag fot the TV - yes I am afraid we have resorted to a TV because we intend to use the van a lot as retired now and love to get away and in the autumn we wil run out of things to do in the shorter evening and don't want to end up divorced. Happy camping Viv

Hi Both
Van looks great, is it a Mk1? Took me a while to work out it is on a Bedford Rascal (I think). Have you any pics of the inside? I guess it has a stand alone cooker, I think they are much better. I wish they fitted those now. Did you get the jacks with it?
Sounds like good fun ----- Derek

im gutted,we was in north wales,at some traffic lights, when a big lorry swung wide round the corner and hit us,sadly our little baby is a right off, all the damage is on the drivers side, from the cab to the back lights,,the last time i saw her she was on a lorry being taken away, the insurance paid out, she looked a very sad sight .......

Oh dear Barry, what can I say, sorry to hear that, what a shame she was a little beauty, no wonder you are gutted.
I hope no one was hurt, I know from first hand experience that traffic accidents can be very traumatic, even if you aren't injured.
Best wishes Graham

Hello Barry & Christine. That is so sad. :'(Your Roma looked so cute. Will you be able to get another one with insurance? When they make an offer , make sure you hold out for an offer high enough to replace her. They will try and fob you off but stick to your guns. I have the problem you experienced on my way to work. Trucks and vans etc coming off a roundabout too fast and cannot stay on their side of the road so I know I am going to get hit one day.I wish you well and hope you get a replacement soon. Sorry about your van, but you are safe, and as you said the insurance paid out, so I am sure that you will find another 'Friend'
