Hallo everybody, I have been encouraged to join by Wendy, my other half, who is a regular poster on here. I regularly read all the posts and although so far there have been few where I could have made a useful contribution, you never know. Apart from going away as often as possible in our Dimension my interests stretch to cycling, birds and walking- usually trying to combine these. John

John Nice that you joined us. I am not too knowledgeable about some of the topics but it is nice to just chat occasionally. I have received a lot of advice on here.

He will be so pleased that he's got a reply so quickly. I've been nagging him for ages to sign up!

Yes, he posts when he's nothing better to do at work! Great to see you here John and I'm sure your contributions will be invaluable - without your advice 'off forum' our Fiamma might well be embedded in the roof of our Dimension now!!! Football! Mmmmm, perhaps we should have a separate section where you can argue discuss in peace.

without your advice 'off forum' our Fiamma might well be embedded in the roof of our Dimension now!!! A bit rude of me to put that without an explanation to those who were not there! So I will explain: We thought that the metal arms that support the Fiamma roll out awning on our van were very strong and we hadn't been bothering to peg down the leg supports, instead we just rested them on the ground. John pointed out that it has been known for some awnings, when caught in a strong wind, to be blown up and over onto the top of the van, causing lots of damage. Strong pegs now secure ours whether windy or not!!

Thanks to all for the welcomes. Graham - I thought your skin was a bit hard on the eyes. I'm not used to looking at League 2 but I see that your team are doing quite well - unlike Derby who seem capable of losing to anyone at the moment ;D

Graham - I thought your skin was a bit hard on the eyes. I'm not used to looking at League 2 but I see that your team are doing quite well - unlike Derby who seem capable of losing to anyone at the moment ;D Its very early days in the season yet John, I am used to getting stick from you Derby fans, I even sit next to one at work! Believe it or not I have got a bit of a soft spot for Derby I save all my vitriol for that other Nottingham team who we Notts County fans refer to as the 'Fword' as we don't like to actually say the word F*r*st. Are there any other football fans on here and if so who do you support?
