Hello from Loch Lomondside Scotland, im Dougie and i currently own a 3-in-1 dismountable camper based on a VW caddy pick up which is sadly having to be replaced and is advertised in the for sale section of this forum.
However i am not leaving the world of campers etc as i fully intend buying a Mazda Bongo when the Caddy is sold as it far beter meets my needs as i am currently stricken with MS as such am finding it to dificult to finish the rebuild of my Caddy and the Mazda would be far easier to use in any case for my specific needs.
Both myself and my partner and 2 dogs intend to tour europe with our Bongo whilst i am still able to as such we would appriciate any suggestions of where we could find work whilst touring eg fruit picking etc just as a means to maintain food and deisel whilst we are away and ensure we can get back, anyone who has or is doing so at present we would love to haer from you the ups and downs the good and the bad etc etc we also require information on pet passports as we intend taking our two dogs with us, this would all be new to us having never done anything like this before however being retired at 43 was not my intentions on the big scale of things either but i totally intend fufilling my wish to travel info on free and rough camp sites in europe would also be helpful as would any info on websites etc dealing with these types of subjects as i can not seem to find any anywhere.
We have started our own website at www.freewebs.com/bongo-lifestyle where we intend running a diary of events as they happen and details of our trips and what happens to us from now on etc together with a forum and guestbook and loads of other worthwhile information to boot why not look us up at your earliest oppurtunity and pop in and say hello
