I seem to have become lost in all the different threads, I meant to be saying Hi, to everyone at Small Motorhomes, and found myself in Audreys page, never mind all fun,,,,,,,,

Hey don't worry, there are no rules here! As you say all fun - that's the name of the game! Glad you are finding your way around, it does take time to learn how to navigate these type of forums doesn't it!

Hi again Jack I was interested to hear you brew beer and wine from kits, I have tried brewing from the raw ingredients but it is much easier to brew from kits. I got my brewing interests from my Dad who used to make the most delicious Elderberry wine. The trouble is I haven't got the time or the patience for this, he had to leave his elderberry for at least 6 months before he could drink it but he always had a supply going so while he was enjoying his wine he had some more on the go! I mainly do beer now, which kit do you use? I have tried a lot and have settled on Coopers Australian Bitter it seems to settle really quickly and is a lovely full bodied drink, I can recommend it if you can get it in your local brew shop, its around £8 but it makes 40 pints! Cheers Graham

Hello Jack and Pat, welcome to the forum from me too. I thought there was another Audrey had joined, when I saw "hello from Audrey" at the top of the hellos. We have a Dimension that we only got at the beginning of August and are still finding the best ways with it, and loving it.

hi all, nice to have so many replies.Graham, I make my own wine from a Sheraton Kabernet full bodied, kit and its delicious.no added sugar and ferments in about two weeks, ready to drink in about a month, all told. I've 'put some down for later', won't last long, 'er indoors likes it too much. Beer, used to brew from Boots kits, now been making it from Muntons, Connoisseurs Range. Traditional Bitter, a bit more pricey at £11, but a nice pint. I get all my supplies from The Brewshop, in Stockport, by mail order, they're on the net, nice people to deal with. We're limited in Home Brew shops in Cornwall, so need to get supplies easily.Cheers.,,, J&P

A belated welcome from us too. I saw in your post in Audrey's page that you had been to Germany in your van. We have talked about doing that when we have got enough pennies. Did you find some nice sites there? I bet you liked the beer!

Hello Moya, , Pat and I discovered lots of places in Germany where one can park either for free or for a very reasonable 5 Euros a nite, with full facilities, (you reading this, Caravan Club???) we stayed in Aachen, Trier, Bitburg, (lovely beer town)and one can also park in the car parks of local councils!!!!!! lovely country to visit, we are going back next year, too. We ferried across from Dover to Calais, where there is a special Motor caravan park for O/Nighting,not far from port, signposted. We also parked in town centre, on way back, large carpark, free,,,,,, Diesel also lower priced in France, best price was in Luxembourg.,,,G.F.I.(Go For It,,),,also love your Smileys,, J&P

Thanks for that Jack & Pat. Will definitely start looking at places we might want to visit over there. Don't know whether we will make it next year though but the thinking and planning is good fun as well isn't it.
