I have just found this web site via the Roma Club site, this site is certainly a lot more 'user friendly' than the other . We own a Romahome Dimension, we have had it for two years now and are really pleased with it. We camp with our two dogs, and we also attend quite a few Classic car rallys in the year as we own a 1950 Hillman Minx. We did have a much larger camper, but as I generally drive it to shows, it was just too big, I feel so much happier in this, and we can take it anywhere without a problem. I have attached a photo of 'Shandy' happily waiting to go camping! she just loves it!

Hi Gill and Jim
Welcome to our Forum, you will find we are a really friendly bunch. You will be our 4th Dimension owner, Pauline and I moved up to a Dimension from a Romahome Duo and we really love it. John and Wendy also has a Dimension as does Audrey.
We are having a meet at Chipping Norton is it anywhere near you if it is you would be more than welcome, see the messages on General Camping Discussion.
I'm sure there will be a few other on here to welcome you soon, keep looking.
Regards Graham

Hi Gill & Jim, Glad you found this site. It is very friendly and Pauline does a great job. That brings back memories when you mention your Hillman Minx. I used to know someone who had one when I was in my teens!

A big welcome from me too - a fellow Dimension owner. John and I saw the new Dimension at the NEC yesterday, but we didn't like it as much as our current one - 2+yrs old.

Hi Gill and Jim So glad you found us. We like to see this as a friendly forum where we can not only help each other out with problems and stuff but we can also have a bit of a laugh, a joke and even a bit of light-hearted teasing, 'cos laughter is the best medicine and life's too short for being serious! Plus those who want a more serious discussion about their vans have the 'technical' section to do their stuff, so hopefully we please (almost) everyone!

I am going to try again to add a picture of Shandy, on her seat in our Dimension, ready to go!!!! Shandy looks lovely and very proud in her rosette! Your Dimension walls are green by the looks of it - ours are a deep pinky red. Didn't know they did different colours on the walls!

Yes you are right Pauline, ours does have green on the walls and on the wardrobe, however the curtains are pink also the bed overlays are pink, and the upholstery is grey (like the silver fox without the leather). Think it may be a bit of a hybrid!! it was first reg July 2004 and we bought it in Oct 2004, 600mls on clock and I dont think ever slept in. I have also put ex plastic milk containers, cut down, in the toilet compartment, fit just right!! I have also made a cover for the bed overlays, this then doubles as a back rest. When travelling it sits very nicely on the single infill cushion, against the offside passenger window, pushed partly behind the wardrobe. I mad this to free up some of the space in the luton, giving us more room for bedding, folding table etc. I dont know whether anyone else has found the 'lock and lock' boxes, they are brilliant for tea coffee, biscuits and all sorts of thing, I have a range of sizes they stack on each other, and they fit easily in the overhead cupboard above the rear doors. Found these made a very good use of space. I am sure everyone has many ingenious space saving ideas, just thought I would mention the above.
