I am a new member, I have owned my Romahome duo for 1 year and throughly enjoyed every moment. Places visited so far include Bude, Polperro, Durham, St.Ives, Dartmoor and Bournemouth, with trips to Blackpool, in two weeks time, and St.Ives at Christmas, to look forward to. As you can see we love using the van !

Hi Alan welcome to the Forum, You sounds like the perfect Romahomer!! Are you staying in your van at St. Ives on Christmas Day? Just wondered how you did the turkey! I can just imagine it on the BBQ!

Hello Alan
Welcome to our forum, you certainly sound as if you enjoy your trips in your Duo, we had a Duo before we moved on to a Dimension and we really loved it, one of the best things about the Duo is the reaction you get from people who have never seen one, we used to get people stopping us in car parks and asking about it.
For a long time we kept getting a smudge mark on the back window in the door and we couldn't work out where it came from until we came back to the van one day in a car park and a couple were peering through the back window and resting their forehead on the window, hence the smudge. ;D
Enjoy your camping and let us know where you've been, if you go to any good sites you could always send us a review for the web site, we are always wanting to put recommended sites on to the review page.
Graham

Hi Alan We are the same as you. Had our Duo Hylo just over a year now and love it. I am always working out when we can have our next weekend away! I expect you have realised this a very friendly forum and we try and help each other if we can. Our web mistress does a great job.

Hi Graham, Yes we get the same reaction. We parked in Penarth, South Wales recently, when we came back to the van a small group of people were gathered around the back window. We walked on passed to give them time to complete their investigations. I will post a review of sites visited in the future. Thanks for the welcome.

Hi Moya, I love visiting new places in Britain, I think we as a nation undervalue what it has to offer. The chance to be able to go off, and stay away , opens up new possibilitys. Blackpool and it's lights await the weekend after next ! Thanks for the welcome.

A big welcome from me too. From your postings, I think that you are Alan who I directed here from UKCS. You'll find that we are all very friendly here and like to have a laugh, but can also be serious when the need arises.

Hi alan Welcome We have had out Outlook since Summer and love it. We get away a lot as we use it to visit our son in Bognor and daughter in worcester. We camp up in their gardens. We even went to our first music weekend in Wiltshire. Can you make the meet that is planned in October. Viv
