I'm new!

Hello All

I've just found this forum which looks brilliant.

For the last 3 years I've been camping in my Renault Kangoo .... van which my husband and I fitted very basically. When not used as a van, a series of small modular cupboard units are rearranged to create a wide bed with adjacent unit housing a sink and porta-potti.

The only problem was headroom and having nowhere to stretch out on long evenings of solo camping in remote areas so, in March I splashed out on a Renault Kangoo Roo and absolutely love it. I enjoyed my van-camping but the proper conversion with elevating roof, opening rear windows, swivelling passenger seat, table, gas hob and sink with a plug(!) etc are pure bliss and I'm hooked.

So far I've camped along the Glamorgan coast, Brecon Beacons and a wet long weekend in Pembrokeshire with more trips planned - hopefully in the winter too.

I look forward to getting to know others on the forum - especially if anyone else is located near me on the England-Wales borders.

Sounds like you are making good use of your new van! Any chance of a picture, a Kangoo-Roo sounds lovely!!

As you may have read around the forum, we have had a few meet up's, next one is in Derbyshire in early July, you would be most welcome to join us if you can make it.

Welcome to the forum, your Roo looks lovely, its the first one we have on this forum so you are unique! And it certainly fits into the small motorhome criteria.

It would be great if you could come to one of the meets so we can have a good look at it.
