Hello, Mick (bathcat) here. I've just joined you all. I'm hoping to buy a Citroen Romahome soon, and am enjoying reading the various threads and input from the 'small motorhome' community.

Hi Mick and welcome to the forum. Hope you manage to get your Romahome soon. "Bathcat"? does that imply you are a cat lover? There are a few of us on here

Hi bathcat
I too am intrigued by your name!
We have no regrets about buying our Romahome. In fact we use it so often now as it is always packed up and ready. We use it all the time for parties and get togethers and most of our family has a special pitch for us in their gardens.
Hope you get the one you want soon.

Hello, I've just written the post below, and then found that I'd already introduced myself, and that there were messages waiting for me, so you see that my reference to 'senior moments' below has a good foundation!
"Hello! Just realised I haven't said 'Hello'. Not bad manners, just absent-mindedness, or serial senior moments! The site is absolutely great, I think, and I'm greatly impressed with those members (e.g. Ant, and Peter Holden [I'm sure there are more I haven't come across yet]), who willingly give so much of their time to share their insights, opinions and expertise. It's all very encouraging, and thanks to the founders of the site, and the moderator, administrator, and webmaster."
So now I've introduced myself twice. Shouldn't do any harm!
Mick (Bathcat)
P.S. Though I've got a great deal of time for cats, and all animals, the name Bathcat is taken from the novel 'Blood Meridian' by Cormac McCarthy. Bathcat is one of the characters in the novel, and I love the name. We did call one of our cats 'Bathcat', actually. A long-haired ginger tom, he used to leap on to the sink unit when I was washing up and instantly go to sleep stretched out by the side of the sink, his tail and one hind leg submerged in the soapy water! So I decided to call him Bathcat.

Oh Mick you really made me smile, thank heavens for those 'senior moments' Your ginger Bathcat sounds as daft as our ginger tom, although I doubt he would do anything that got his paws wet!
