I was very glad to find this forum....its already saved me time, effort and money ! I still bought a Auto sleeper Mezan though. We will have to see how good a decision this proves to be ! Started with a Romerhome on the Honda Acty base and hit 90,000 miles before the spares situation started to take the gilt off the gingerbread. Went big and German but I live in a wild part of Wales of narrow lanes and overhanging trees so it was hard work.
Now gone back to small but beautifully formed !

Hi Hunter
Glad you found the information on here helpful, A Mezan still counts as a Smallmotorhome so you are welcome on here we don't have any hard and fast rules. I think you are the only person on here with a Mezan so it will be interesting to see what you think of it after a while compared to a Romahome.
Meanwhile enjoy the rest of the Summer and get plenty of camping in, come back and tell us where you've been and how the Mezan is performing.
Regards Graham

Hello Hunter, I joined recently too and it's like gaining lots of friends all in one go. The tips are really useful and, like you, I have saved myself garage visits and money. Reading that your first Romahome was on a Honda Acty base brought back memories of my first Romahome. I was told the engine (500ccs) was half a Honda Goldwing and if I got 45mph out of it downhill I was lucky (90mph being the full wack, I guess).. After a gap of 12 years and retirement I bought Elvis and he is brilliant but I have many fond memories of the Honda, mostly after arriving, however!!

Hi there I would like to see a Mezan so hope you can join us for a meet soon! they look very similar to the Romahome, I think it goes to prove that the smaller vans are becoming quite popular as more manufacturers get in on the act.
They can be used as everyday vehicles as well.

Thanks Everyone
Jax, my Acty + Romahome would manage 55+, sixty downhill. Got to admit I was embarrassed at times on those long steep hills with no passing places where I would end up with a few dozen cars glued to the back bumper.
