nice looking site - love the way it works.
One serious misgiving tho is
"We require that you enter your birthday as to comply with US law."
why should we be required to comply with US law - the site is - to all intents and purposes - in the UK. US requirements are intrusive enough without introducing them here surely, if US citizens wish to join the site then they should abide by UK laws.

Yes it is a nice site. Not sure about the US law thing but I expect it is probably part of some technical thingy in the log in set up, I am sure someone will be along soon who knows.

The board is hosted on a server in California (did a trace)

If you are not in the USA I don't see how they could enforce their law, unless you went there after they get a successful prosecution.

So if you are not planning to go to the States, tell porkies about your age.

Also, how would they enforce it even if you were American or running a pro-boards site in America. Surely they have better things to do than check you've added the right birthdate to a forum
