Hello everyone.
We (my wife Hilary and me Malcolm) have just bought a C15 Romahome HyLo.
We slept in it last night to try out our new sleeping bags - the site? Our garage! The van just fits in the garage so it seemed a shame to move it.
Next week we shall use it properly for the first time outside for a weekend away.
We have enjoyed following the forum and hope to be able to contribute as well.

Hi from another newbie to motorhoming! I bought a Bedford Rascal romahome a while ago, but haven't actually slept in her yet, although I have been to Aberystwth for a few days - I slept in a static van though! She's been into the garage to and fro, sorting things out, but all seems to be fixed now - so I don't have any excuse now not to get going! I have often wondered whether to camp on the drive, just to see. Might be off for a winter couple of days soon though! (Just bought an oil-filled radiator for the occasion!) Enjoy your van! JayJay  |

Hello and welcome Malcolm and Hilary Hope You get a lot of enjoyment from the new van. Like the bit about the garage,and Jayjay I know people that have slept in theirs on the drive to try it out,its not a bad idea really!!! We could always start a member driveway exchange then we would feel like we had been somewhere I should speak I go out to the carpark in work every dinner for my lunch its great getting away from the office for a while. Hi Malcolm and Hilary Welcome to you both, glad you have enjoyed our forum and please do contribute whenever you fancy. Its amazing how many people I have heard of who have slept in the their vans on the drive outside their home because they couldn't wait to try it out, so you are not on your own. Let us know how you get on next week when you go "real" camping, and you could always send us a campsite review to our main website if you fancied it. Hi, we have a Vauxhall Elddis Nipper campervan -k reg- (also an avondale touring caravan.) We go to our friends and families to visit (get bladdered!!) and sleep on their drives in it !! It saves a fortune on taxis!!! We love it. Also great for doing the festivals and cheap on fuel. One of the best things we ever bought.
