Hi Everyone Our names are Penny and Derek and Barney ( the traveling cat ). We bought out Romahome at the end of last year and been on the odd day out so far but haven't slept overnight in it yet. We are really pleased with it and cant believe how much is fitted into such a small space. Our cat is well traveled and normally sleeps on our legs so imagine he will be comfy. We are going to make a serious effort to attend the next rally in " Julias" reg J395CRS. Look forward to meeting you all.

Hi to you all!!! ;D I bought my Bedford Rascal Motorhome 6 months ago - I've been out but also haven't slept over in mine yet either - so you're in good company! I have been away for few days to Aberystwyth - but I wimped out and slept in a static as it seemed a bit silly to camp in the little van when there was a big bed in a big caravan! Wish I had now! Are you coming to the meet planned in Wolverley? It will be great to compare notes! The meet at Wolverley is in the camping discussion forum smallmotorhome.proboards105.com/index.cgi?board=camping&action=display&thread=1199482389

Hello Penny and Derek and a big welcome to our forum, I hope you have many happy camping trips in your Romahome with Barney.
Pauline and I once took our new kitten with us when we had a touring caravan, we didn't get a wink of sleep as he kept walking all over us and snuffling in our ears, after that we decided to take him to the cattery.
By the sounds of it Barney is a lot better behaved.
As JayJay says it would be great to meet you at Wolverley but if you can't make it I am sure there will be other opportunities.
Happy Camping Graham

Thanks for the welcome Grahame. Barney is a house cat and has worn a harness & lead since he was 6 weeks old so we are able to restrict his movements during the night. He is a typical tom and wants to be boss of everyone and is a terror when we are at home but he is well behaved when we are camping so he must be enjoying the break from home too. We (unfortunately) still work full time but work permitting we will be at the "meet" I will post a picture of Julius as soon as we get one.

Hi Elvisfan
Welcome to the forum, I do believe we have at least one person on here who is from Northern Ireland, hopefully they will see this post and come on and say hello.
No need to ask you what your taste in music is. ;D What sort of Romahome have you got?

I have a lovely romahome duo outlook which is coming almost 5 years of age. I do hope other members will come on from my side of the world as all the romahome rallies seem to be across the water. Oh and yes I am a big mad elvis fan! ;D

I have even spotted one or two romahomes here on my travels. All the romahome rallies seem to be on the mainland though - think we definitely need an Irish Rally (North or South), elvisfan (christine)
