The speaker cover on the drivers side door of our 2004 Duo Hylo vanished without trace on our last trip. The remaining one on the passenger side was checked and after a little proding and poking it was found that, if it was twisted anti-clockwise, it came off. This can happen very easily, not much force is required.
The van is still under the three year warranty and the local Citroen agency gave us another cover. The new cover clips straight in, no twisting, and it fits more firmly.
This is not a big deal as the replacement covers are only about a fiver but it is irritating if bits fall off.

I lost mine this holiday (first trip) and what is so annoying is that I saw it on the floor in the public car park and ignored it as I did not tie up what it was. glad though that I can get another one.

Hi Derek and Viv
This must be a common problem because when we had a Duo exactly the same thing happened but luckily we noticed it on the floor of the car park, after that every so often I would check that they weren't coming loose again and they would very often tighten up.
Probably best solution is a spot of super glue.
Regards Graham

As it seems a frequent problem I think I will mention this on the website as a tip to warn other Berlingo base vehicle owners. I'd really appreciate it if one of you ever had the time to take a picture of the said offending speaker cover in situ, I could then add it to the text to help with the description of the problem.
