A poll

I've been dying to try out one of these poll things!

So, I just wondered what folks thought of the member ranking system.

At present, under your name it will say something like "10+ post member" etc.

It is based on the number of posts you do but the names can be changed to anything we like. Some sites have funny things like "Part of the furniture" for a high poster. Some just have "Junior member" or even "Silver member" and "Diamond member"

Any suggestions?

Can't think of any names and it doesn't really bother me either way. But well done for getting a poll up and running.

Hello Pauline I love the idea of a Poll.
I like the idea of anything that smacks of fun as camping is fun and this is a fun site and friendly. Just an idea, what about using a little wheel as the symbol instead of a star. You could gain 4 wheels and a spare to complete the set (like gaining pilots wings) or a picture of a little van. I am not too up with what the computer can do with regard to symbols. Can't think what you could call us though as we gain our awards, whatever they be !!!!

I like the idea of the wheels, it's something that all our vans have in common no matter what make or model.

Well the votes so far seem to suggest that the majority don't mind if they are changed or not so perhaps wheels could be a nice addition.

Will leave the vote open for another week and see what happens - like to be democratic within our co-operative! ;D

(Perhaps we should start selling '99' tea )

Well it seems the majority wasn't bothered whether they were changed or not and from the other two options the 'yes lets change them' won by a fraction so I think it's OK to go ahead.

I thought we would go with Viv's idea.

So, I've set the wheels in motion as it where!!

Shame the ranking has to be based on how many posts you do rather than how long you've been a member but unfortunately that is out of my control.

I'm not sure I like being a one wheel person Pauline as it reminds me of a unicycle and I can't ride one of those.
I suppose I will just have to do a few more posts to get something more manageable :-
