Hi everyone, Looks like the Wolverley meet was another good one. Following the successful hijacking of our holiday in Hayfield last year we thought we would suggest the same again this year. We are going to be staying at the Kendall camping and caravanning site from Saturday 12th July till Sunday 20th so how about joining us for a meet on Friday the 18th till Sunday the 20th July? Of course anyone is welcome before that.....if you can face our company for longer Look forward to seeing anyone who wants to join us. Tim & Kris ps we are at Haltwhistle from the 5th July till 12th so if anyone is passing then feel free to drop in!

Hi Tim and Kris
We would like to come on this one, so see you there, we will probably have to come Saturday unless we can juggle our "little darlings" around and get away Friday afternoon but we can stay till Monday as we are off then.
Anyone who wants to come please be aware it will be the start of the school holidays that weekend so is likely to be busy, early booking is advised.
Graham and Pauline

After enjoying Wolverley we would have loved to meet you in Kendal, but unfortuneately we will be stuck in Bristol that weekend for a wedding. Never mind I am sure you will all have fun. We shall be passing that way 10 days later as we head off to Scotland for August.

Yes another wedding Viv! I have two next week. Don't forget as a piper I rely on weddings and funerals for my income. Just finishd teaching this evening - yes a piping lesson which also helps the finances.
Perhaps next time we all get together, the weather will be kinder and i'll give you all a tune. ;D

Now I understand! Terry is doing the piping for my new downstairs loo! A grand job he is making of it as well>

We've booked this now for Saturday and Sunday night and are leaving Monday. We've booked a hard standing with electricity so that we get a flat pitch as I think it says in the book that it is sloping in places.
Anyone else made a definite booking yet?
Come on you smallmotorhomers who live in a more northerly direction now's your chance to get to a meet! Be sure to book early its not a particularly big site and the kids start their holidays that weekend so it will be busy.

I'll be there if I have any money left/have recovered bank balance. I don't come back from Scotland until the beginning of June, so I won't be able to book until after that time, just have to see if there's any dosh left - and if there's a place left to book! ;D

Hello everyone. Not been on the forum for ages as I have been in Bristol filming a show that consists of opening boxes. Had a fantastic time and was pleased with the result. We have a wedding the weekend of the Summer meet, in Norfolk, so we wont be able to get there but may get to meet up with Glen. Hope you all have a great time. Really enjoyed the Wolverly meet and hope we can get to another one soon. Penny & Derek & Barney the travelling cat.

Penny is the TV star and had a fantastic time. 8-)Endomel, the tv company look after you so well with a top class hotel, all paid, and travelling expenses. It will be shown on Oct 16th but she will be appearing from about Sept 15th. An experience she will never forget. She made friends who will now be friends forever. We are not allowed to tell anyone the outcome but we are very happy with the result. Obviously the fact that she is a parking attendant added to the fun and also that we are "sad" because our hobby is metal detecting but the outcome was worth the leg pulling.

Hello Dancer. I doubt if you will get a call just yet as they have thousands of people waiting but when you do get the call for an audition, you just need to be as mad and crazy as you can be . It was the most amazing time of my life. All the other contestants were such lovely people. We are all keeping in touch by phone or text and have lots of reunion parties planned. I really enjoyed my game and wanted it to last forever. Noel is very nice (and skinny too) and very good at his job. I would recomend it to anyone. Brilliant. Penny
