Hi Graham, So did I! I inquired about another two days! No deposit was mentioned! We are are then going to Cornwall for 8 days, returning via Gloucestshire for 4 days to break up the journey . I'm sure Dave said in another thread somewhere that he had email confirmation that the rally field was booked and that we could pay on the day.

Hi All,
Yes I am still alive, sorry for not being around but I have been called into work for the last few weeks with no Internet access ( apart from the occasional trip to the library ), I have confirmed the rally field and there is no payment due until we arrive, so we can just pay on the day!!
Hope to be back from work in the next week or two so should be back around the site more often.
Hope everyone is well, whats the gossip what have I missed, Graham I think we need to start a new thread, missed gossip over the past few weeks for Dave ;D

It will be a bit of a departure for me going South as I usually go North for camping!!

Hi all, I'm back...... work finally let me back to being able to play and I have made the most of it ;D ;D Spent the Easter weekend in Sizewell at a CL site attached to a pub ( extremely handy as I did not have far to stagger home ) I will post a full list of all those attending the meet tonight, and if anyone that is not on the list would like to attend, please let me know ASAP and I will add you. I will then send the confirmed numbers to Paul at the site. I am soooooooooooooooooooo jealous that I am unable to attend this meet!!! hence next year going to my fave place (Turunc) later next year, just in case you have another great meet.

Hi Dave, We will arrive sometime on Friday! I think the route finder said 5 hours! But intend to set off early. This is our first meet and I am looking forward to it. So if Owen sits in the awning on his own with Sonny don't be offended, he his a very quiet person, but happy for me to socialize. They do say opposite attracts. Also secondly, Sonny is under a behavioral program, he his fine with people passing, walking through busy crowds,very obedient etc( we were on a very hectic site over the weekend no problems. At most 5ft from all five neighbors with kids) But isn't very good if people talk to him or try and touch him he backs away and may bark (just scared). The behaviorist approach is for him to be socialized but desocialized by people ignoring him completely, so he gets his confidence back with strangers, it is working and relatives come and stay and within hours hes fine with them. Don't worry! we muzzle him to prevent accidents, not that he has shown any aggressive tendencies but just in case. We are responsible dog owners. So it may be me and Lulu around the Barby so please don't be offended Thanks Sunshine1 Ellie |

Ellie, thanks for letting me know about Sony, I had a little mini foxy and I understand how much training is involved and what being a responsible dog owner is like ( it can be bloody hard work at time ) If Owen feels like sitting in the awning with a cold one reading, then thats what the meet should be about for him, I think these are about everyone enjoying it in there own way with the emphasis being on having fun, so no offenses will be taken here.
