Gail Hi Gail, I know what you mean by wishing the days away Thanks for the heads up concerning your eta, that is fantastic that you can both make it and Thursday is great, Just tell Paul that you are for the Romahome/Small motor home meet and he will put you straight into the rally field so you don't need to move, and all nights will be at rally costs Cant wait to see you soon Dave

I'm thinking of coming on the Thursday as well! Much better than Friday traffic if you can avoid it, methinks! I'm not actually 100% sure I'll be coming yet though. More 98%! I've been pretty poorly recently (too much gardening, amongst other things : and so I'm hoping that I'll be ok for next Thursday. I've taxed me little vanny, just need to clean, air and pack over the next few days. I have a dropped kerb now (still awaiting the bill - £520 ) - but no drive as such.. however, I'm sure Daisy won't mind being on the grass lawn for a week! I could leave where she is (at the other end of the village) and sort it out from there, but I'd be up and down rather a lot, so I'm just hoping it will be ok and she won't sink! ;D So looking forward to this trip, so hope I'll be able to come.

Graham, looks like you are going to need a very wide angle lens for the group shot on this meet.

Graham, looks like you are going to need a very wide angle lens for the group shot on this meet. It certainly looks like being our biggest gathering ever, I haven't got a wide angle lense so everyone will have to play sardines. I must remember to bring the tripod this time too. Graham

Question please to organiser. I have something called a superkettle. This is basically a hotwater urn (2.5 litres) that is designed to draw only a small ampage. (i.e. will not blow the electrics). Would you like me to bring it for brewing up for multiple cups of tea etc? I am gonig to try and leave work early midday on Friday....try being the operative word.

Hi Sue, That would be fantastic if you could bring this with you. Thanks very much for thinking about it as I am sure there will be a lot of tea/coffee consumed ( along with other things ) See you Friday. Cheers Dave

Mum's a bit chicken about staying overnight but we'll see what happens, she's only been on her own for less than 4 months. The poodle is not quite sheep size! He's 12 years old called 'Humphrey' (was already called that when I got him!)and thinks he's related to royalty! Looking forward to it liljo

Hi Dave Sorry I haven't confirmed ETA before - I didn't see this part of the thread - I hope to be there tonight by 8pm. If things go pear-shaped I will be there early tomorrow morning but happy to pay for tonight as I'm so late in confirming. One of my dogs also tends towards panic-barking if approached but soon calms down. The rain is driving against my window here in Wales as I type ....ho hum - pack the wellies!
Se you later. Rhianon
