It has been so long since I looked here I may have lost the plot. Is it still 8/9/10th May. If so, we are planning on being away from next week and staying away as long as the weather lasts and then on to this meet, to arrive on Thursday some time.
If anyone reads this can they please also remind me where we are going!!! If not I will have to read right through all these posts as I can't remember.

Hi Viv, Thanks for the heads up to your ETA, yes the meet is still the 8th,9th,10th May and it is being held here: www.greenhill-leisure-park.co.uk/ I will email Paul and let him know that you are coming in on the Thursday so he knows to charge you rally rates and put you into the rally field so you don't have to move. Thanks Kiwi, I am not absolutely certain of our movements as we don't know where we will be in the few days prior to the get together. We are aiming to arrive on Thursday but if we don't make it until Friday I hope it won't be a problem. Starting off in New Forest on Wednesday and then off to Bristol area then who knows where!!
Looking forward to meeting up.

We would like to attend also but won't be ab le to get there until Saturday evening due to work commitments.
Is there any space available or should we book into the normal site.

Hi Diccon and Debbie, Firstly welcome to the forum, I am sure you will enjoy it here as much as I have, very friendly and helpful place were I can even get my "stupid" questions answered ;D You are more than welcome to attend the meet, it will be fantastic to have you there, We have the whole rally field booked so no problems with space and I have put you both onto the confirmed list with a Sat arrival time. Hi all, Thanks to everyone who has given me there ETA for the meet so far. If those that have not yet managed to could please give me a rough idea of the time and day that you are expecting to get to the meet, that would be fantastic. Anyone wishing to arrive before or leave after the meet, I have arranged that you can stay in the rally field so we don't have to move and remember the cost will be at the meet price, not normal pitch prices. This is shaping up to be a great meet, and I am really looking forward to catching up for cake and whiskey ( and as there are three birthdays, what an excuse to have both ;D) Cheers Dave |

We didn't apply to come to this meet as it clashed with my son and daughter-in-laws house move. They now tell us that they may want to bring the move forward by a week which would then free us up.
Would it be possible to ask to join you at a very late date? They should know by the middle of next week.
We totally understand if this is not possible and we shall keep our eyes on the notices and try to join you at a later meet.

Wish I had joined earlier, but probably wouldn't have had the 'van on the road.....
I am working that weekend now though.
Will there be other 'Newbie' meets later in the year for us newer 'newbies'??

Dave if you are up for a trailer tent I plan to be coming. One thing I have some friends that may join me but they are tent based. Is that okay? If not please let me know, she frequently visits oxford and as I was planning to be in the vicinity I thought it was a good idea to ask if she wanted to meet up. She seems quite keen and is thinking of bringing her tent or she just may visit. I thought it seemed a fairly laid back affair but thought I had better just ask.

We are a caravan unit now, as you can probably remember from previous posts!
